And American Prospect&#39;s Ezra Klein has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.prospect.org\/csnc\/blogs\/ezraklein_archive?month=01&amp;year=2009&amp;base_name=the_speech_1#112294\" target=\"_blank\">a nice little set of observations<\/a> from his seat in &quot;the second row.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>Atlantic columnist Marc Ambinder has noticed, as the day went on, that &quot;<a href=\"http:\/\/marcambinder.theatlantic.com\/archives\/2009\/01\/even_the_motorcades_changed.php\" target=\"_blank\">even motorcades have changed<\/a>&quot; in the new administration.&#0160; And BlogHer&#39;s Erin Kotecki Vest describes <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blogher.com\/inauguration-09-i-saw-nothing-felt-everything?wrap=blogher-topics\/politics-news\" target=\"_blank\">the logistical disasters<\/a> that, huge as they were, failed to ruin the day.<\/p>\n<p>Women&#39;s Voices for Change ran a live blog for contributors and members all day.&#0160; It&#39;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.womensvoicesforchange.org\/2009\/01\/wvfc-inauguration-liveblog-part-one.html\" target=\"_blank\">posted in<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.womensvoicesforchange.org\/2009\/01\/the-music-was-right-inauguration-liveblog-part-two.html\" target=\"_blank\">three<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.womensvoicesforchange.org\/2009\/01\/inauguration-liveblog-3-dreams-for-my-daughter-a-wild-tropical-escort.html\" target=\"_blank\">part<\/a><span style=\"font-family: Trebuchet MS;\">s.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>If you know Mocha Momma you know that she mixes <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mochamomma.com\/2009\/01\/20\/44\/\" target=\"_blank\">the irreverent and the sublime<\/a>.&#0160; Yesterday was no different.&#0160; <\/p>\n<p>The Women&#39;s Rights blog at Change.org features <a href=\"http:\/\/womensrights.change.org\/blog\/view\/the_44th_president_barack_hussein_obama\" target=\"_blank\">a moved, and moving<\/a>, post from editor Jen Nedeau.&#0160; and a French friend of mine described <a href=\"http:\/\/ilanadavita.wordpress.com\/2009\/01\/20\/teaching-about-the-inauguration\/\" target=\"_blank\">using my Inauguration post t<\/a>o teach her students.&#0160; It&#39;s interesting.<\/p>\n<p>So.&#0160; This is a random survey.&#0160; I&#39;ll be back tomorrow with some thoughts of my own.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So much has been written about this Inauguration that I thought I&#39;d take you on a little tour; there&#39;s not much I want to say beyond what&#39;s been said and said and said again, so I&#39;m sharing the thoughts of others instead.
